The final project is part of my thesis project called N[g]. the pictures on the left represent the process of the project simply. What people need for representing their memories is a story with words and a visual image (According to the user research, smell, visual image, and key words are important elements for recalling their memories). By writing their story from a memory and getting similar image from the web, it makes people think about the memory one more time and appreciate it as well. Code
* N[g] is an online memorial for the deceased by the people close to them left behind in the world. It allows people to share their sorrow by collecting individual memories related to the deceased and to reconstruct all group memories as a memento by visualizing a memory cluster. Moreover, as a real human brain follows the laws of nature, people are able to have a healthy parting with the memories disappearing slowly based on users' decisions.
Through the project, I want to achieve the following goals: First, exploring the visualization of human consciousness to find a way of better communication in terms of memory sharing. Second, presenting a proposal of a solution for redundant information problem that I have felt on the web through the theme of ‘death’, by making information disappear depending on how much time people use or access information.
